Tajmeel by Amna: an Aesthetics Clinic’s Website, with Online Booking and WhatsApp Built In

Altius Digital 4 min read

In aesthetics, the website is the first consultation. Before anyone sits in the chair at 101 Wigmore Street, they have decided from a screen whether Amna is careful, qualified and the kind of practitioner who will say no to too much. Tajmeel by Amna asked us to design and build a site that answers those questions, then gets out of the way of the booking.

What we built

The design

  • A brand system first, not a template. Warm neutrals, a dark ink for text, one gold accent, and two typefaces: a classic serif (Libre Baskerville) for headlines with a gold italic turn, and a clean sans-serif (Almarai) for everything you read at small sizes. Every page uses the same spacing, buttons and cards, so the whole site feels like one hand made it.
  • Photography direction. Real images of Amna at work and of the clinic room, lit softly, cropped so the headline always sits on a calm part of the frame.
  • The home page as a consultation. Promise, proof (clients, certification, home visits), the six most-loved treatments, the approach, reviews, a request form, then the offer. Each section answers the next question a nervous first-timer would ask.

The pages

  • Treatments hub. One page that filters by family (dermal filler, anti-wrinkle, skin boosters, microneedling, poly-L-lactic acid) with a photographic card for each.
  • About twenty treatment pages. Lip, cheek, tear trough, chin, jawline, temple and nasolabial filler, Russian lips, non-surgical rhinoplasty, filler packages, forehead and frown lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, nose slimming, gummy smile, lip flip, Profhilo, polynucleotides, microneedling. Each has its own address, so a search for one treatment lands on exactly that page.
  • Home visits, about, contact, offers, plus the legal pages a clinic needs.

The integrations

  • Online booking. Every “Book now” and consultation button opens the clinic’s booking system (Setmore) inside the site, with a fallback link to open it in a new tab. Appointments land straight in Amna’s diary.
  • WhatsApp, pre-written. The floating button and every WhatsApp link open a chat with the first message already typed, a different one per context (“enquire about a treatment”, “arrange a consultation”), so a client only has to press send.
  • Consultation form. Name, email, phone with country code, treatment of interest and a message, delivered to the clinic’s inbox.
  • Mailing list with an offer. A sign-up that gives 10% off a first treatment, with the small print written in (first treatment only, after consultation, not combined with other offers).
  • Maps and contact. One-tap directions to 101 Wigmore Street, click-to-call and click-to-WhatsApp numbers in the footer and on the contact page.
  • Reviews. Client words on the home page, each tagged with the treatment it refers to.

Behind the scenes

  • Domain, security and speed. byamna.co.uk pointed at the new site, HTTPS on every page, images served resized for each screen from a content network, so the photo-heavy pages still load quickly on a phone.
  • Where the data goes. Bookings live in the booking system, not on the website, so the diary is the single source of truth. Form submissions are delivered to the clinic’s inbox and kept in the site’s own log as a backup. Mailing-list sign-ups go to the list, with the discount terms attached.
  • The links that do the work. WhatsApp, phone, directions and booking are all deep links that open the right app on a phone and the right page on a desktop, with no extra scripts to slow the page down.
  • Editing without us. Prices, treatments, offers, reviews and photos are editable in a visual editor by the clinic. We set the page templates and brand rules so edits stay on-brand.
  • Backups and updates. Versioned pages, automatic backups and platform-managed updates, so there is nothing to patch and nothing to lose.
  • Handover. A short walkthrough of how to add a treatment, change a price, update the offer and read the enquiries, so the clinic runs the site day to day and calls us for the bigger changes.

Phone first

Most aesthetics bookings happen on a phone, often in the evening. The site was laid out for a thumb: a floating Book Now button, WhatsApp always in reach, treatment cards that stack cleanly, and forms with the right keyboard for each field.

Sensible page titles and descriptions for every treatment, clean addresses, fast pages and a clear structure, so Google and the AI assistants can tell what the clinic offers, where it is and who it is for.

Getting the words right

Aesthetics is regulated advertising in the UK. Prescription-only treatments cannot be promoted by name to the public, so the site talks about “anti-wrinkle” treatment and lets the consultation do the rest. The tone is reassuring rather than glamorous: natural results, comfort at every step, a practitioner who plans the treatment around the face in front of her.

The scroll-through

The recording above is the live site, desktop and phone: the home page first, then the Treatments page, where every treatment gets its own card, photo and plain-English note, then a tap through to Dermal Filler, with its treatment map and area-by-area guide. The booking, WhatsApp and form all work exactly as shown.

What the clinic can do themselves

Prices, treatments, offers and reviews are editable by the clinic without us, so the site stays current between visits.

Tajmeel by Amna is a client of Altius Digital. The recording is of their live website at byamna.co.uk.
